China's space measurement and control technology successfully achieved "five major leapfrogs"

On July 17, it was learned from the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Xi'an Satellite Monitoring and Control Center that the Xi'an Satellite Monitoring and Control Center of China has made important breakthroughs in the determination of the precision orbit of the Moon, and laid the technical foundation for the determination of the track of the National Engineering. The center has vigorously carried out key technologies such as multi-star precision orbit determination and deep space measurement and control, and promoted China's space measurement and control technology to successfully achieve the five major leaps of “flying to space, returning to the ground, synchronous fixed point, spacecraft recycling, and multi-star management”.
“We have completed the measurement and control tasks that can be carried out by countries with nearly 100% coverage with a measurement and control coverage of around 8%.” The person in charge of the Xi’an Satellite Monitoring and Control Center told reporters, “We have come out of a space measurement and control with Chinese characteristics. Road, the comprehensive capability of space measurement and control has reached the world advanced level."
In the past 40 years, Xi'an Satellite Measurement and Control Center has overcome core technologies such as orbit maintenance, multi-star network, multi-star co-location, return orbit precision control and accurate return point prediction, which makes the accuracy of orbit control calculation of China's synchronous and near-Earth satellites realized. The breakthrough in the order of magnitude has always maintained domestic leading level and reached the international advanced level in terms of orbit determination, orbital attitude control and return control capability; satellite management capability has achieved a leap from single star to multi-star; satellite emergency response capability has been continuously improved. Many times successfully carried out space “rescue” to ensure the safe operation of satellites and save countless losses for the country.
