Product Description
     The YPS Series gearbox is specifically designed to match inverted parallel twin screw extruders. Key components are manufactured using carburizing, quenching, hardening, and gear grinding techniques. The precision reaches Grade 6 (ISO1328-1:1995). A high-capacity thrust bearing is installed at the front end of the hollow output shaft to handle screw back pressure forces. This compact unit offers high carrying capacity, stable operation, low noise, and high efficiency.
Key Features
1. The housing is made from spheroidal graphite casting, offering rigidity, flatness, and a smooth finish after multi-dimensional machining.
2. The drive units of the reduction gearbox and distributor box are crafted using ordinary steel and ultra-strength alloy case-hardened steel, combined with carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding. Critical parts undergo surface peening. Tooth surface hardness: HRC54–62; Core hardness: HRC30–40; Gear precision: Grade 6. This ensures high efficiency, strength, and low noise.
3. Bearings are designed for a service life between 20,000 to 50,000 hours.
4. An external forced lubrication and cooling system enhances performance, ensuring reliable operation and easy maintenance.
