Product Description
     The YPS Series Gearbox is specifically designed to match inverted parallel twin screw extruders. Key components are manufactured using carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding techniques, achieving Grade 6 precision (ISO1328-1:1995). A high-capacity thrust bearing is installed at the front end of the hollow output shaft to handle screw back pressure. The unit offers compact design, high torque capacity, stable performance, low noise, and high efficiency.
Key Features
1. The housing is made from spheroidal graphite casting, offering rigidity and aesthetic finish after multi-dimensional machining.
2. The driving units are manufactured using ordinary steel and ultra-strength alloy case-hardened steel with carburizing, quenching, and gear grinding processes. Critical parts undergo surface peening, ensuring tooth surface hardness of HRC54–62 and core hardness of HRC30–40, with Grade 6 gear precision. This ensures high efficiency, strength, and quiet operation.
3. Bearings are designed for a lifespan between 20,000 to 50,000 hours.
4. An external forced lubrication and cooling system enhances lubrication and cooling, providing reliable performance and easy maintenance.
