On July 22, 2008, the Guizhou Provincial Department of National Defense Industry and Engineering, acting on behalf of the Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission, organized a group of experts to conduct an acceptance review for the demonstration project titled "Scroll Compressor Crankshaft and Industrialization of Sliding Bearing Components" at Guizhou Southwestern Tools (Group) Co., Ltd. This project was part of the high-tech industrialization initiatives launched in 2006. The evaluation team commended the project's achievements, highlighting its role as a model for technological advancement and its positive economic and social impacts.
Since the project's initiation, Xigong Group has made significant progress in innovation and production. The company has filed a total of 13 patents, including four invention patents and nine utility model patents. They have successfully developed advanced manufacturing techniques for key components such as scroll compressors, crankshafts, and eccentric sleeves. Additionally, the group has designed and manufactured essential tooling equipment, including deep-hole machining systems and fixtures for eccentric outer diameters. With these advancements, the company now has an annual production capacity of 1.8 million scroll compressor crankshafts and sliding bearing components.
In 2007, the project's products generated a sales revenue of 37.82 million yuan, contributing a total profit and tax of 4.53 million yuan, and achieving an export value of 800,000 U.S. dollars. These results reflect the project's success in driving both technological development and commercial growth, reinforcing its importance in the region's industrial strategy.
