Agilent transceivers make mobile phones a universal remote control device

Agilent Technologies (NYSE: A) has introduced a compact and cost-effective infrared transceiver that allows mobile phones to function as universal remote controls for TVs, VCRs, DVDs, and other household devices. This new transceiver supports IrDA (Infrared Data Association) link transmission up to 50 cm (about 20 inches), with a maximum range of 7 meters (around 23 feet). It is compatible with Agilent’s universal remote control software, making it an ideal solution for smart home integration. The HSDL-3005 Infrared Transceiver comes in two configurations: front view and side view. The front view version features an optical component on the top of the package, allowing infrared signals to be transmitted or received through the front or back of a handheld device. The side view variant has the optical component on the side, enabling infrared communication through the side of the device. The front view model measures 8.0 mm (width) × 2.5 mm (height) × 3.0 mm (length), while the side view model is slightly smaller at 7.5 mm × 2.8 mm × 3.35 mm. Designed for ease of use, the HSDL-3005 offers flexible programming options, making it simple to integrate into mobile applications. Agilent’s HSDL-S300 companion application acts as a universal remote control, featuring a pre-loaded database of remote controls and a self-teaching mode. It supports various home appliances, including TV, DVD, VCR, air conditioning, CD, audio, and LD/VCD players. Each configuration file can handle up to 10 devices, allowing storage of control data for 80 different appliances (8 files × 10 devices per file). Users can control up to 32 buttons or functions per device using their phone's touchscreen or physical keys. To reduce costs and improve compactness, the HSDL-3005 uses a high-power 883nm LED instead of traditional IrDA components that operate at 875nm and 940nm. This design choice enhances performance while maintaining compatibility with standard infrared protocols. The transceiver meets the low-power requirements of IrDA physical layer version 1.4. It supports SIR (Serial Infrared) data rates from 9.6 kb/s to 115.2 kb/s. Its ultra-low idle current of less than 100 microamps and a shutdown current of 10nA (typical) help extend battery life in portable devices. Additional features include LED overheat protection and an operating voltage range of 2.4V to 3.6V. All Agilent infrared transceivers are compliant with IEC 825-Class 1 safety standards.

Polyurethane System For Shock Absorber

Xuchuan Chemical also provides PU system for other various applications such as solid tires, marine fender, shock absorber...Customized products are also available .

Excellent hand feel and elasticity, good abrasion resistance and slip resistance, high strength adhesive strength, low density and good dimensional stability.

A Pu system for shoe soles refers to the use of polyurethane (PU) material in the manufacturing of shoe soles. PU is a versatile and durable material that offers several advantages for shoe soles.
Here are some key features and benefits of using a PU system for shoe soles:
1. Cushioning: PU provides excellent cushioning and shock absorption properties, making it ideal for footwear that requires high levels of comfort and impact protection.
2. Lightweight: PU is a lightweight material, which helps reduce the overall weight of the shoe, making it more comfortable to wear and reducing fatigue during extended use.
3. Flexibility: PU offers good flexibility, allowing the shoe sole to bend and flex with the natural movement of the foot. This enhances comfort and prevents stiffness or discomfort during walking or running.
4. Durability: PU is highly durable and resistant to wear and tear, making it suitable for long-lasting shoe soles. It can withstand repeated use and exposure to various environmental conditions without losing its structural integrity.
5. Slip resistance: PU can be formulated with specific additives to enhance its slip resistance properties, providing better traction and grip on different surfaces. This is especially important for safety footwear or shoes used in slippery conditions.
6. Design versatility: PU can be molded into various shapes and designs, allowing for greater design flexibility and customization options for shoe soles. This enables manufacturers to create unique and visually appealing footwear.
7. Water resistance: PU can be made water-resistant or waterproof, which helps protect the shoe sole and the foot from moisture, rain, or other wet conditions.
Overall, a PU system for shoe soles offers a combination of comfort, durability, flexibility, and design versatility, making it a popular choice for footwear manufacturers and consumers alike.
