I just got back from covering the townhouse fire that broke out in Vernon Hills last night (July 20, 2014). It was quite a scene! The firefighters were working tirelessly to control the blaze, and I managed to snap some photos that really capture the intensity of the situation.
The first image shows firemen applying high expansion foam to try and contain the flames. You can see how focused everyone is as they work together to tackle this challenging fire. Another shot highlights the impressive aerial ladder being used by the firefighters to reach higher areas of the building. It’s incredible to witness their precision and skill in action.
