Car fire in Harvey>
This is Dennis McGuire, Jr. Here’s what happened: I caught this scene just before the fire truck arrived. Not much to say really—just a car accident that ended up causing the car to catch fire. Thankfully, Engine 4 showed up quickly and managed to put out the flames.
[Attached are several photos of the incident.]
---
The first photo shows the initial chaos as bystanders and firefighters worked together to ensure everyone was safe. You can see the flames starting to take over one side of the vehicle, which made it look quite dangerous.
In the second image, you’ll notice the firefighters already geared up and working hard to control the situation. Their teamwork and quick response were crucial in preventing further damage or injury.
The third shot highlights how intense the fire was initially but also captures the moment when the tide began to turn thanks to their efforts. It’s always impressive to witness such professionalism under pressure.
Moving on to the fourth picture, here we see the firefighters continuing their work while maintaining focus despite the heat and smoke. This kind of dedication never ceases to amaze me.
Then there’s another angle where they’ve managed to bring the fire almost fully under control. It’s amazing how much progress they made within minutes.
Finally, the last couple of images showcase the aftermath—a bit charred, yes, but overall, the firefighters did an incredible job saving both lives and property.
These moments remind us all why we’re so grateful for our local emergency services. Thanks to them, situations like these often have happy endings.
Take care,
Dennis McGuire, Jr.
