This unique creation was showcased at a Barrett-Jackson auction back in 2014, where a lucky bidder walked away with it for just $2,750. Despite its modest price tag, this truck is far from ordinary. Under the hood lies the original 22R Toyota engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, with just 82,500 original miles on the odometer. Considering all the aftermarket parts and custom upgrades it boasts, this deal was nothing short of incredible.

While the Barrett-Jackson listing didn’t mention who put together this masterpiece, it seems clear that whoever did this knew their way around auto bodywork. Everything under the hood remains untouched, giving it that authentic 1987 feel. Peering into the engine bay feels like stepping back in time, and it’s hard not to admire how well everything still works after all these years.

On the outside, though, this truck has undergone some serious transformations. The chopped roofline and shaved door handles are immediately noticeable, but there are also some subtler touches, such as the rear roll pan and the professionally joined cab and bed. The lowered stance gives it an aggressive stance, while the Centerline billet wheels and custom tonneau bed cover add further flair.

Inside, the truck is just as impressive as its exterior. The new upholstery matches the body perfectly, while fresh carpeting adds a touch of modern comfort.
