Two adults and four children, aged between three and twelve, were rushed to the hospital following the incident. The Lisle-Woodridge Fire District received multiple 911 calls around 8:40 a.m., including one from an occupant of the two-story residence located in the 4700 block of Dumoulin Avenue. Firefighters arrived within four minutes and found the home fully engulfed. They brought the fire under control within about 30 to 40 minutes. All victims were taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. According to officials, two of them are in serious condition, while the other four are listed as guarded. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire, and no arrests or charges have been made at this time.
