New ambulance for the Lansing FD
Congratulations to Chief Chad Kooyenga and the Lansing Fire Department on their latest acquisition—a brand-new 2022 Wheeled Coach Type I custom ambulance! This state-of-the-art unit is built on a 2022 Ford F-550 4×2 chassis and features a Liquid Spring rear suspension for superior comfort and stability. The ambulance includes a 170†module with 72†of interior headroom, making it ideal for both patient care and transport. Inside, you'll find custom cabinetry, Whelen LED emergency and scene lighting, drop skirt body sides for easy access, Per4 Max Restraint Systems for secure patient handling, and a Stryker Power Load System for efficient equipment management. This marks Lansing’s second Wheeled Coach ambulance, and we’re thrilled to be part of their continued growth and success.
