New ambulance for the Lansing FD

Congratulations to Chief Chad Kooyenga and the Lansing Fire Department on their recent acquisition of a brand-new 2022 Wheeled Coach Type I custom ambulance! This state-of-the-art unit is built on a 2022 Ford F-550 4×2 chassis and features a Liquid Spring rear suspension for enhanced comfort and stability. The ambulance includes a 170” module with 72” of interior headroom, custom cabinetry, and high-quality Whelen LED emergency and scene lighting. It also comes with drop skirt body sides for easier access, Per4 Max Restraint Systems for patient safety, and a Stryker Power Load System for efficient equipment handling. This marks the second Wheeled Coach unit in Lansing’s fleet, and we're thrilled to be part of their continued growth and success.
