New truck for the Grant Park FPD

From the Fire Service, Inc. Facebook page: Congratulations go out to the Grant Park Fire District for adding a brand-new E-ONE 2023 E-ONE HP75’ Quint to their fleet! This impressive vehicle is equipped with top-of-the-line features that enhance both performance and safety. Here's a breakdown of what makes this fire truck truly exceptional: The truck boasts an E-ONE Typhoon Severe Duty cab, ensuring maximum durability and comfort for firefighters. The body and pump module are made from an E-ONE aluminum extrusion, providing both strength and lightweight design. It also features an E-ONE 75’ HD aluminum ladder, which is perfect for accessing high-rise buildings and challenging terrains. Under the hood, it’s powered by a Cummins L9 450 HP engine paired with an Allison EVS 3000 transmission, delivering smooth and efficient operation. The firefighting capabilities are enhanced by a Hale Q Max 1500 GPM fire pump, capable of handling even the most demanding situations. The exterior is equipped with a Federal Signal LED lighting package, including a sleek Black Chrome Federal Q-siren, ensuring visibility and effectiveness in any emergency situation. Additionally, Firetech brow and side LED scene lights add to the truck's modern aesthetic while improving operational efficiency. Other notable features include a galvanized frame and liner for added corrosion resistance, an Amdor roll-up door for easy access, and the FSI-Black Out Package for a professional finish. Custom tool and storage compartments by FSI ensure that everything firefighters need is organized and within reach. I had the chance to see these photos shared by Fire Service Inc., and they really do justice to how stunning this fire truck looks in person.
