Rock the Badges Battle of the Bands
**Rock The Badges Is Back!**
Hey Rockers!
38 days until the biggest musical showdown of the year! It’s time to gear up and get ready for **Rock The Badges**, the epic battle of the bands that brings together some of the best local talent in Chicago. The event is back on **September 6, 2014**, at the **Copernicus Center**, located at 5216 W. Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL 60631. Doors open at **5:00 PM**, and the music starts at **6:00 PM**, with performances running all the way until **1:00 AM**.
This isn’t just a concert — it’s a cause. All proceeds from this year’s event go directly to the **Chicago Police Memorial Foundation (CPMF)** and **Ignite The Spirit**, two incredible charities that support the families of Chicago police officers and firefighters who have been injured or lost their lives while serving our city. Last year, thanks to your support, we were able to donate **$6,000 to each organization** — and this year, we’re aiming even higher.
So, what’s in store? This year’s lineup is packed with rockin’ acts! You’ll hear from **Fire Bands** like *Northside*, *The Differents*, and *The Billy Ray Valentine Band*, as well as **Police Bands** such as *Jenny Rockis Trio*, *Phosphene*, and *Erik Lauren and The Blue Blood Sinners*. Plus, special performances from *It’s About Time* and *Sami Lin* will keep the energy high all night long. Don’t miss out — this is one show you won’t want to be missing!
