Wheaton 3rd Alarm Fire 7-4-12

John Tulipano shared the following report:

Today's fire at 976 Tara Court in Wheaton was a challenging incident. The fire originated in the rear of the home and quickly spread up the wall and into the attic. Being on a dead-end street, the second engine had to travel about 1,000 feet to reach the nearest hydrant. All units had to walk in from Blanchard with their tools and equipment due to the limited access. The temperature was around 98 degrees when the fire broke out, making the conditions extremely tough for the crews.
