On the morning of the 17th, the Xinjiang Machinery Research Institute officially launched its self-propelled corn combine harvester, a model with independent intellectual property rights, to Inner Mongolia and the three northeastern provinces. The event was attended by Alibaba Yimingbahai, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region and vice chairman of the region, who personally cut the ribbon to mark the occasion.
The newly launched 40-series self-propelled corn combine harvesters represent the latest innovation from the institute, each valued at over 300,000 yuan. These machines are primarily targeted at markets in Inner Mongolia, the three northeastern provinces, and various regions across Xinjiang. Their introduction marks a significant step forward in the local agricultural machinery industry.
Established as a comprehensive provincial research institution, the Xinjiang Machinery Research Institute specializes in the development of agricultural and livestock machinery, processing equipment for agricultural by-products, and mechatronics products. It also holds the right to independently import and export goods. In 2005, the institute transitioned into a limited liability company, further enhancing its operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
In recent years, the institute has concentrated on aligning its research and development efforts with market demands. Building on decades of experience in agricultural machinery, it has actively pursued the creation of urgently needed equipment and closely followed global trends in agricultural technology. This proactive approach has led to the successful development of a self-propelled corn combine harvester with independent intellectual property rights, which is now being sold in mass quantities.
To date, the institute has successfully developed and brought to market four series of agricultural and livestock machinery products, totaling 16 different models. These innovations not only meet domestic needs but also reflect the institute’s growing influence in the broader agricultural machinery sector.
