This ensures that only defect-free pipes reach the market. Surface treatments such as phosphate coatings or protective layers are applied to increase corrosion resistance and extend the service life of the pipe. These treatments also help in reducing friction during installation and operation. Each pipe is then marked with important details including size, material grade, heat number, manufacturer’s information, and other necessary identifiers. This helps in traceability and quality assurance. Finally, the finished products are packaged, bundled, and shipped to the field or customer locations. Proper packaging ensures that the pipes arrive in excellent condition, ready for use.
