Menomonee Falls Safety Fair
This is Asher Heimermann, reporting live from just north of the border. Over the weekend, I had the chance to attend the Menomonee Falls Safety Fair, which took place on Saturday, September 13th in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It was an incredible event with plenty of action and learning opportunities for everyone involved.
The day was packed with demonstrations from various emergency services. Firefighters put on quite the show, showcasing their skills in three different scenarios: vehicle extrication, side-by-side burn demonstrations, and a live car fire. The turnout was impressive, with multiple fire trucks and ambulances on display from departments like Milwaukee Fire, Germantown Fire, Butler Fire, and Lannon Fire, along with the Milwaukee Fire Bell Club.
Adding to the excitement, the Flight for Life medical helicopter made an appearance, drawing a lot of attention. Law enforcement agencies also joined in, including the Menomonee Falls Police, Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. It was great to see such a strong collaborative effort between these organizations.

It was a fantastic day filled with education, community spirit, and the dedication of our local heroes. Let's hope events like this continue to bring us closer together while keeping safety at the forefront of our minds.
