2-11 Alarm fire in Chicago, 12/30/16 (more)

Earlier this morning, I drove out to the 2-11 area on the near west side. There was a fire in a large, well-maintained Greystone building, roughly 50 by 100 feet. It looked like the main fire was on the second floor and had extended into the attic. Fire crews were making an interior attack, while Truck 36 was cutting multiple holes in the roof to ventilate the structure. It was a cold and windy morning, and it seemed like the fire really started to spread quickly once the wind picked up.
